April 29, 2008 in Massachusetts.  Howard Wolfe, Director, New England Inhalant Abuse Prevention Coalition and member, Massachusetts Inhalant Task Force and Ray Davis, Rhode Island Inhalant Abuse Task Force Coordinator are the presenters for You Can Make a Difference: Preventing and Treating Inhalant Abuse. This is a one day training on inhalant abuse with an overview of the issue in the morning and separate prevention and treatment tracks in the afternoon. Inhalant Abuse: It's Right Under Your Nose  This all day training (repeated at the three locations) is for any youth serving professional that wants to learn about the problem of inhalant abuse and how to prevent and address it. January 17, 2006 in Massachusetts. Howard Wolfe, Director, New England Inhalant Abuse Prevention Coalition and member, Massachusetts Inhalant Task Force, is presenting a session on inhalant abuse as part of the day long Update for Experienced School Nurses offered by the School Health Institute of Northeastern University. March 4, 2006 in Rhode Island. The Rhode Island Inhalant Task Force and DATA of Rhode Island are sponsoring a professional development workshop for anyone who works with children in Rhode Island. This Saturday morning workshop called Inhalant Abuse: It's Right Under Your Nose will be held in West Warwick, Rhode Island, from 8:00 to noon. Presenters are Howard Wolfe and Florence Seidell. The New Hampshire Training Institute on Addictive Disorders is offering a 6-hour training on inhalant abuse for NHADACA members and other community-based prevention providers. Participants will learn how to deliver a 75 minute training on inhalant abuse for adults and some basics about consulting to schools, communities and working with the media. Each participant will receive a copy of a PowerPoint presentation and a K-12 inhalant prevention curriculum guide. Sponsored by the Maine Inhalant Abuse Task Force. June 8 - 9, 2006 in Storrs, Connecticut. Howard C. Wolfe, MA, LMFT, will be presenting at a 1½ day training on inhalant abuse treatment as part of the 37th annual New England School of Addiction Studies at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Topics will include an overview of inhalant abuse, assessment and intervention techniques, safety and prevention issues in treatment settings, and an overview of treatment issues. The School offers over 60 workshops on various topics related to addiction as well as major presentations of broad interest and facilitated forums.
